Terry Maloy
CEO of Des Moines Metro Credit Union

Terry joined Community 1st Credit Union in November of 2004 as Vice President of Strategic Planning. He has been President/CEO of Community 1st Credit Union since July 2006. In addition, he has 30 year's of experience in retail businesses. Prior to joining Community 1st Credit Union Maloy held Executive level positions with some of the nation's leading retailers (OSCO/SAVON Drug Stores, SAM's Club/Wal-Mart, DICK's Sporting Goods). While at these companies he has lead efforts in re-branding, acquisitions, business development, customer relationship marketing and strategic planning.

Maloy is currently a member of the ICUL Finance Committee and a CBL board member. In addition, he has served as Vice President of the South Central Chapter of Credit Unions and is currently President of the chapter. He is also an elected council member of Iowa State Extension Council, Monroe County. Maloy received his BA from William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
