Loan Approval Worksheet: Now Available

In response to requests from credit union examiners to better document loan approval, Community Business Lenders has prepared an Excel worksheet that can be used as a template at your credit union to better document your due diligence in approving loans. The documents can then be saved to share with examiners when they visit your credit union.

The Excel worksheet and instructions on using the worksheet are now posted to the private portion of our website. Credit union partners can log-in to our website to access this file and the instructions by clicking on the links in the menu on the left-hand side.

We would also like to make it clear that this is simply one suggested version of how to document your loan approvals. You can also create your own worksheet to use, or customize the example that we provided to fit the individual needs of your credit union.
