Mark Kilian is the CEO of Community Business Lenders and has extensive experience in the financial industry. He has more than 22 years of experience in commercial lending, representing borrowers and offering consulting to small business owners. Earlier in his career Mark held various positions at Firstar Bank, Des Moines, including Vice President of Commercial Lending. Mark is also a Certified Public Accountant and adjunct finance instructor at Drake University. In addition, his prior experience includes leading a multi-million dollar, nationally-recognized transit company as CFO as well as owning a private financial consulting company specializing in small business accounting and finance.
Jim Harrington is the Vice President of Member Business Lending and is responsible for business development, marketing, servicing loan portfolios and structuring participation deals. Prior to joining CBL, Jim worked at Regions Bank as the Vice President of Commercial Banking where he managed a portfolio worth more than $30 million. He also was the previous owner of James Capital Corporation and served as the commercial finance consultant for business owners and managers. Jim’s background includes serving as the business development officer of On-Site Credit Services where he was responsible for developing new products and services and marketing commercial finance services.
