Garrett Reynolds

Garrett Reynolds joined the Community Business Lenders team in January 2019 as a Commercial Loan Officer. In October 2019 he became Chief Lending Officer at CBL. Garrett Is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a major in real estate and finance. He has over 15 years of commercial real estate lending experience and started in the field in 2008 working for a life insurance company’s real estate department in Chicago, IL. He’s worked for two banks including a large national bank as well as a regional midwestern bank.

Over the course of his career, he has originated more than $150 million in commercial real estate loans. Garrett truly enjoys working in the Credit Union world after those experiences. He has covered the Des Moines metropolitan market for nearly the entirety of his career and is enthusiastic about local real estate projects and witnessing the growth the market has experienced. Garrett lives in In Indianola, Iowa and is married with three grade school children. In his free time, Garrett enjoys family camping trips, coaching his children’s teams, Iowa State athletics, and playing golf.
